Passport Photo Maker — Print-Ready ID Photos

A studio charges ₹100–200 for passport photos and you still have to travel there. This tool turns a normal phone photo into a proper passport-size photo: correct dimensions, plain background, print-ready sheet. I made it after helping half my family prepare photos for passport renewals and exam forms.

How to make a passport photo here

  1. Take a photo against any plain-ish wall — face the camera straight, ears visible, neutral expression, even lighting (daylight from a window works great).
  2. Upload it and pick your size preset: Indian passport (35×45 mm; equivalent to 2×2 inch for many US forms), or the specific size your form demands.
  3. The tool helps you crop to the exact ratio and can remove/replace the background with plain white or light blue.
  4. Download a single photo, or generate a sheet (like 6 or 8 photos on a 4×6 print) and get them printed at any photo shop for the price of one print.

Frequently asked questions

What is the exact Indian passport photo size?

35mm × 45mm, in color, with a plain white background. Face should cover roughly 70–80% of the height. This preset is built in.

Can I use this for SSC, UPSC, PAN and other forms?

Yes — those each have their own size/KB rules, and this site has dedicated pages for them (SSC, UPSC, PAN card, Aadhaar and more) with the right presets already set.

How do I print these?

Use the sheet option to place multiple copies on one 4×6 inch layout, download it, and give it to any local photo studio or print it at home on glossy paper.

My wall isn't white. Is that a problem?

No — use the background removal option and set the background to pure white. It looks cleaner than most real walls.

Is my photo stored on your servers?

No. Everything runs in your browser; your photo stays on your device.
